Art Prints for Trending Paint Colours 2014

05/13/2014

What paint colours are trending this year?

According to companies like Benjamin Moore and Beauti-Tone the colour palettes have been inspired by nature. Soft, comfortable and like a breath of fresh air, so that leads to the question....

What about the Art?

First off we'd like to think the art you have in your home or office speaks loudly and showcases your personal taste and style. Here at the Saint Jean Art Gallery we have tried hard to bring you a wide range of choices to meet your needs. Owing original paintings are a wonderful way to support the creative talents of the artists. It allows you to invest in the artist and increase your net worth, all at the same time. However, owning that amazing one of a kind original painting is not in the budget for many. So the perfect alternative is to buy a print instead.

Over the last few years the on-line art market has emerged with an eye popping speed never seen before in the globe art world. All one needs to do is Google "Art Prints" and you will be bombarded with more options than you know what to do with. However, caution is needed when deciding who to buy your prints from. Not all is created equal.  Quality, customer service and return policies play a big part in making the right choice.  The last thing you want is to end up with a cheap low quality knock off and have no way to get a refund because the company refuses to reply to your inquiry.  Sound familiar? The on-line print market is no different than any other industry. There are great companies, average companies and down right ugly ones....  So do your homework first so you can feel good about your art purchases.

We work with three different print on demand companies and have done your homework for you. We wanted to make sure that every client who purchases a Saint Jean Art Gallery's print will be satisfied and happy. After all if you have opened your heart and home to own one of our art works and supported our artists then it's our job to support you as well. It's just good business.

The first company that we want to tell you about is Fine Art America. The quality is perfect and they do have a 30 day money back guarantee that works. No questions asked. If you don't like it return it for a full refund. Easy and simple to use and they have a wide range of options available. However.... there is a but...
The shipping rates are vary competitive for clients in the United States (USA) but shipping costs to out of country clients is a little much. At least in our opinion. So we teamed up with Vancouver on Canvas for Canadian Clients and Artflakes for European Clients. Both of these companies have high quality prints same as Fine Art America and they also have money back guarantees. So it comes down to you the client as to where you would like to buy our prints. Our full print portfolio is available for viewing on Fine Art America but only a limited amount of images are posted up on Artflakes and Vancouver on Canvas. But, that doesn't mean you can't get the print of your choice at what ever company works best for you. Just drop us a email and tell us what you would like and we will make sure it's available on the company website of your choice.  We are just an email away..... no worries.

Now back to the topic of what will work in your space and the colour trending palettes for 2014.  Believe it or not, you are just a hop skip and jump away from finding that perfect piece of art for your home or office. The first thing you need to think about is; Do you want your art to blend in or stand out? The following art pieces have been created by our resident Canadian Artist Barbara St. Jean. The colour palette used complements the trending pastel tones and will add a splash of colour without dominating the space. Do these pieces appeal to you?

Or are you looking for a softer look? How about hanging a print of the original watercolour with it's beautiful flowing lines. This one is titled the Three Faces of Eve.

Not enough pop, how about these pieces? The first one is titled Pin Cherry Swirl and the second Just Opened? Same pastel palette base but with a little more zip....
